Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is a Hindi movie from the year 2013 that, as its name suggests, is a celebration of man's triumph over adversity. The story deals with a young boy who wants to come out of his father's shadow. He does so by deliberately trying to ruin his life at school to prove he can do things better than his dad. As it turns out, the only way he can go further in life is by following in his dad's footsteps and becoming a doctor. This movie is a simple tale of a boy and his journey through life. This movie revolves around the life of an innocent boy, who wants to come out of his dad's shadow and be like him to prove that he can do same as even better as his dad. Raj (Dulquer Salman), who is a twelve-year-old child, goes to study in Rajkumar Patel (Amitabh Bachchan) school, where the principal (Saurabh Shukla) tells him that there was no vacancy and he should go back and try again next year. Raj does not want to return home without taking admission in school. Instead, his father arrives in a few minutes and takes him home in a car. Raj does not understand why he had to go back to school. He asks his father for going to school next year and says that he can take admission in another school. He tells his father the truth about why he came home without taking admission in the school. Raj's father, who is a doctor, explains that there was no vacancy and someone else had taken that place already. Raj feels bad when his father says that from now on, it will be much harder for him to get admissions in schools but he will try this year. He tells no one about the incident in the school. Raj stays at home for two years. Raj's father is very busy in his profession. While playing cricket with his friends, he hits a fast bowler ball directly on his head and dies on the spot. After this incident, Raj's life completely changes. His uncle tells him to join Al-Ameer Academy boarding school since there are many vacancies in it because of its bad reputation. He is admitted into Al-Ameer Academy boarding school under the name of Karan Oberoi (also played by Dulquer Salman). A new and completely different phase of life begins for him. His life becomes a roller coaster ride where he has to adjust to every thing in a short span of time. Inside the boarding school, he encounters new problems. His style of speaking is different from the students around him. He speaks properly and can't even speak one local language properly so they nickname him as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’, which does not go down too well with them. He approaches his class teacher (Rajesh Sharma), who tells Raj that this is no place for someone like him and that it's all about survival and there is no place for anyone with decency here. cfa1e77820
